Just looked at the lunar calendar and my fiance and I are getting married on a blue moon! :D

So my question, to my pagan followers and non followers alike: Is there any special lunar lore or energies with the blue moon for the handfasting? Positive or negative?

I’m looking for a vegan version of Red Velvet Cake for my wedding/handfasting. Anyone have any good recipes?

Here were my thoughts. We need to have 6 ribbons for the ceremony the way we have it constructed so:

1. Red (For Fire)

2.Green (For Earth)

3.Yellow (For Air)

4.Blue (For Water)

5.White (For the Goddess)

6.Orange (For the God)

What do my fellow Wiccans/Pagans/Practitioners think?
